About this datasheet

This page documents the full Nuvo-11000E range as published by Neousys, including the two-port Nuvo-11002E. Industrial PC stocks the six-port configurations — for pricing, configuration and lead times on those, see the Nuvo-11000E product page.

Neousys publishes one combined datasheet covering both the Nuvo-11000E and the Nuvo-11000LP. We've split it, so this document covers the E chassis only — no cross-referencing between two variants to work out which line applies to the machine you're specifying.

The E is the expansion chassis in the Nuvo-11000 family. It adds a single-slot PCIe expansion cassette to the same compute platform as the LP, taking one add-in card such as a frame grabber, motion controller or isolated I/O board, in a 90 mm chassis — 11 mm taller than the LP. The cassette is not GPU-capable; for GPU workloads on the same Core™ Ultra 200S platform, see the Nuvo-11160GC.

The E has one MezIO® slot, so one module can be fitted. Ignition control on the E uses MezIO-V20-EP; the MezIO-V20 and V21 modules are for the Nuvo-11000LP chassis and do not fit the E.

What processor does the Nuvo-11000E use?

Intel® Core™ Ultra 200S series CPUs in an LGA1851 socket, at 35W or 65W TDP — the Ultra 9 285/285T, Ultra 7 265/265T and Ultra 5 245/245T. Up to 24 cores and 24 threads, with an integrated NPU delivering up to 36 TOPS.

Can the Nuvo-11000E take a graphics card?

No. The expansion cassette is not GPU-capable — it is intended for cards such as frame grabbers, motion controllers and isolated I/O boards. For GPU workloads on the same Core™ Ultra 200S platform, the Nuvo-11160GC supports an NVIDIA® RTX™ card up to 150W in a PCIe x16 cassette.

How is the Nuvo-11000E different from the Nuvo-11000LP?

The E adds a single-slot PCIe expansion cassette for one add-in card, in a 90 mm chassis. The LP is 79 mm, has no cassette, and instead offers a front-access hot-swap 2.5" drive tray. Compute, memory, I/O and MezIO® expansion are identical; the two share a 240 × 225 mm footprint.

What is the difference between the Nuvo-11002E and the Nuvo-11006E?

Port count and chipset. The 11006E has five 2.5GbE ports plus one GbE on an Intel Q870 PCH, which brings vPro / AMT 16.0 for out-of-band remote management. The 11002E has one 2.5GbE plus one GbE on an H810 PCH and does not support vPro. PoE+ and 10GbE options are only offered on the 11006E.

Does the Nuvo-11000E support PoE+ and 10GbE?

Yes, on the six-port models. The Nuvo-11006E-PoE puts IEEE 802.3at PoE+ on four of the six ports with a shared 100 W budget, and the Nuvo-11006E-PoE-10G adds a 10GBASE-T port on top. 10GbE is only offered alongside PoE+.

What is the operating temperature range?

With a 35W CPU the Nuvo-11000E runs fanless from −25°C to 70°C. A 65W CPU configured as 35W TDP also runs −25°C to 70°C; at full 65W TDP it runs −25°C to 50°C. Sub-zero and above-60°C operation requires a wide-temperature drive, and the 10GbE option caps the range at 60°C.
